Choicelab License

Choicelab is free software, with its two core components—the editor, and the player—licensed differently:

  • The Choicelab editor is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). This means, in part, that software that's derivative of the editor must also be free software. Read the GPLv3 license.
  • The Choicelab player is licensed under the MIT License. This means you can embed the player in your own projects—including commercial or proprietary ones—without GPL obligations. Read the MIT license.

The Choicelab name is a trademark of Austin Heller, and is not included in the above licenses. It cannot be used in derivative projects without written permission from the author.
